Anti-REP15 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein RAB15 effector protein. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 236 amino acid residues and a mass of 26.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the endosome. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. REP15 is reported to regulate transferrin receptor recycling from the endocytic recycling compartment. REP15 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the REP15 antibodies listed below. In addition, Immunohistochemistry is also a common application.
