Anti-HIST3H2A antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target HIST3H2A is a known alias name of the protein H2A clustered histone 25, encoded by the H2AC25 gene in humans. This 130-amino acid residue protein is an important component of nucleosome. It is localized to the nucleus and chromosomes of the cell and features ubiquitinated, acetylated and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Western Blot is the most common application for the HIST3H2A antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
