Anti-PBGD antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target PBGD is a known alias name of the protein hydroxymethylbilane synthase, encoded by the HMBS gene in humans. This 361-amino acid residue protein is a member of the HMBS protein family. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. The term PORC is another synonym for PBGD. Indicated applications for PBGD antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
