Anti-PDZD7 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein PDZ domain containing 7. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1033 amino acid residues and a mass of 111.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cell projections. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to be weakly expressed in the inner ear. PDZD7 is known to be involved with cellular localization. The PDZD7 gene has been associated with the disease, Deafness. Synonyms for this target antigen include PDZ domain-containing protein 7 and deafness, autosomal recessive 57. PDZD7 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some PDZD7 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Immunofluorescence is a widely used application for these antibodies. Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
