Anti-MTHFSD antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein methenyltetrahydrofolate synthetase domain containing. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 383 amino acid residues and a mass of 42.2 kDa. Up to 4 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. Synonyms for this target antigen include methenyltetrahydrofolate synthetase domain-containing protein, and methenyltetrahydrofolate synthase domain-containing protein. MTHFSD gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the MTHFSD antibodies listed below. Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
