Anti-MS4A12 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein membrane spanning 4-domains A12. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 267 amino acid residues and a mass of 28.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in the colon and rectum. A member of the MS4A protein family, MS4A12 is suspected to be involved in signal transduction as a component of a multimeric receptor complex. Synonyms for this target antigen include Ms4a10 and membrane-spanning 4-domains subfamily A member 12. MS4A12 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the MS4A12 antibodies listed below. In addition, Immunohistochemistry is also a common application.
