Anti-GGTLC2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein gamma-glutamyltransferase light chain 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 218 amino acid residues and a mass of 23.7 kDa. It is a member of the Gamma-glutamyltransferase protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include gamma-glutamyltransferase-like 4, gamma-glutamyltransferase-like protein 4, and glutathione hydrolase light chain 2. GGTLC2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat and chimpanzee species. Some GGTLC2 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. ELISA is a widely used application for these antibodies. Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
