Anti-PHF11 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein PHD finger protein 11. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 331 amino acid residues and a mass of 37.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to be highly expressed in T and B-cells, as well as natural killer and mature dendritic cells. PHF11 is a reported positive regulator of Th1-type cytokine gene expression. Synonyms for this target antigen include BCAP, IGEL, IGER, IGHER, NY-REN-34, NYREN34, BRCA1 C-terminus-associated protein, and APY. PHF11 gene orthologs have been reported in the bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of PHF11 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Immunohistochemistry is also a common application.
