Anti-OVCH1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein ovochymase 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1134 amino acid residues and a mass of 125.1 kDa. It has been described to be a secreted protein. A member of the Peptidase S1 protein family, OVCH1 is known to be involved with proteolysis. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. OVCH1 gene orthologs have been reported in the frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the OVCH1 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
