Anti-TP53TG5 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein TP53 target 5. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 290 amino acid residues and a mass of 34 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. It is reported to be highly expressed in the heart, brain and small intestine. TP53TG5 is believed to play a significant role in p53/TP53-mediating signaling pathway. Synonyms for this target antigen include CLG01, TP53-target gene 5 protein, TP53-inducible gene 5 protein, and C20orf10. TP53TG5 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the TP53TG5 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
