Anti-TNFAIP1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein TNF alpha induced protein 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 316 amino acid residues and a mass of 36.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the BACURD protein family, TNFAIP1 is reported to be a substrate-specific adapter of a BCR (BTB-CUL3-RBX1) E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complex involved in regulation of cytoskeleton structure. Synonyms for this target antigen include B61, EDP1, hBACURD2, BTB/POZ domain-containing adapter for CUL3-mediated RhoA degradation protein 2, and B12. TNFAIP1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some TNFAIP1 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
