Anti-TLCD1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein TLC domain containing 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 247 amino acid residues and a mass of 28.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. TLCD1 is reported to regulate the composition and fluidity of the plasma membrane. Synonyms for this target antigen include TLC domain-containing protein 1 and calfacilitin. TLCD1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are common applications for TLCD1 antibodies.
