Anti-Parvin, alpha antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene PARVA in humans. The parvin, alpha protein has an expected mass of 42.2 kDa, but there are 2 reported isoforms. The protein may also be known as CH-ILKBP, MXRA2, alpha-parvin, and actopaxin. Variants of this antigen may also be found in other species, including canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat.
