Anti-SHE antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein Src homology 2 domain containing E. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 495 amino acid residues and a mass of 54 kDa. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. Synonyms for this target antigen include SH2 domain-containing adapter protein E. SHE gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species.
