Anti-LCA5L antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein lebercilin LCA5 like. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 670 amino acid residues and a mass of 76.5 kDa. It is notably expressed in the testis, kidney, fallopian tube, and bronchus. It is a member of the LCA5 protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include LCA5L, lebercilin like, leber congenital amaurosis 5-like protein, and lebercilin-like protein. LCA5L gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the LCA5L antibodies listed below. Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
