Anti-Integral membrane protein 2C antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene ITM2C in humans. The gene may also be known as BRI3, BRICD2C, E25, E25C, BRICHOS domain containing 2C, and cerebral protein 14. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 30.2 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
