Anti-PCDHB14 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein protocadherin beta 14. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 798 amino acid residues and a mass of 87.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. PCDHB14 is known to be involved with cell adhesion and chemical synaptic transmission. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. PCDHB14 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat and bovine species. Western Blot is the most common application for the PCDHB14 antibodies listed below. Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
