Anti-PCDHA10 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein protocadherin alpha 10. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 948 amino acid residues and a mass of 102.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and is secreted. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. PCDHA10 is known to be involved with cell adhesion and nervous system development. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include PCDH-alpha-10, ortholog to mouse CNR8, and KIAA0345-like 4. PCDHA10 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse and bovine species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the PCDHA10 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
