Anti-TMEM196 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein transmembrane protein 196. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 178 amino acid residues and a mass of 19 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Up to 4 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. TMEM196 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. These TMEM196 antibodies are widely used in ELISA experiments, among other applications.
