Anti-ST7L antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein suppression of tumorigenicity 7 like. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 575 amino acid residues and a mass of 64.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Up to 8 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the ST7 protein family, ST7L is known to be involved with the regulation of cell growth. Synonyms for this target antigen include ST7R, STLR, suppressor of tumorigenicity 7 protein-like, ST7-related protein, tumor suppressor ST7 like, and FAM4B. ST7L gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some ST7L antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
