Anti-SERPINB10 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein serpin family B member 10. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 397 amino acid residues and a mass of 45.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. It is notably expressed in myeloid cells and the bone marrow. A member of the Serpin protein family, SERPINB10 is reported to be a protease inhibitor that may play a role in the regulation of protease activities during hematopoiesis and apoptosis induced by TNF. Synonyms for this target antigen include PI10, bomapin, peptidase inhibitor 10, protease inhibitor 10 (ovalbumin type), and PI-10. SERPINB10 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat and chimpanzee species. Some SERPINB10 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
