Anti-RHPN1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein rhophilin Rho GTPase binding protein 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 670 amino acid residues and a mass of 73.6 kDa. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the RHPN protein family, RHPN1 is known to have no enzymatic activity. Synonyms for this target antigen include GTP-Rho-binding protein 1, outer dense fiber of sperm tails 5, and rhophilin-1. RHPN1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the RHPN1 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
