Anti-Regulator of G protein signaling 5 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene RGS5 in humans. The gene may also be known as MST106 and MST092. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 20.9 kilodaltons in mass. The RGS5 marker can be used to identify Pericytes and Capillary Endothelial Cells.* Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
