Anti-PELI2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein pellino E3 ubiquitin protein ligase family member 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 420 amino acid residues and a mass of 46.4 kDa. A member of the Pellino protein family, PELI2 is known to be involved with NF-kappaB signaling pathways and MAPK cascade signaling pathways. Post-translational modifications have been described, including phosphorylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include RING-type E3 ubiquitin transferase pellino homolog 2, pellino homolog 2, pellino-2, protein pellino homolog 2, and E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase pellino homolog 2. PELI2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of PELI2 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
