Anti-NRSN2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein neurensin 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 204 amino acid residues and a mass of 22 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the VMP protein family, NRSN2 is believed to play a role in maintenance and/or transport of vesicles. NRSN2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of NRSN2 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
