Anti-PAPD5 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target PAPD5 is a known alias name of the protein terminal nucleotidyltransferase 4B, encoded by the TENT4B gene in humans. This 572-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a terminal nucleotidyltransferase that catalyzes preferentially the transfert of ATP and GTP on RNA 3' poly(A) tail creating a heterogeneous 3' poly(A) tail leading to mRNAs stabilization by protecting mRNAs from active deadenylation. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell. Indicated applications for PAPD5 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunoprecipitation.
