Anti-ELKS/RAB6-interacting/CAST family member 2 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene ERC2 in humans. The gene may also be known as CAST1, ELKSL, SPBC110, ERC protein 2, and CAZ-associated structural protein. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 110.6 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
