Anti-PEPCKC antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target PEPCKC is a known alias name of the protein phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase 1, encoded by the PCK1 gene in humans. This 622-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in carbohydrate metabolism and homeostasis and insulin signaling pathways, among other biological processes. It is localized to the ER and cytoplasm of the cell and features ubiquitinated, acetylated and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in the rectum, kidney, duodenum, colon, and appendix. Other synonyms for PEPCKC include PCKDC and PEPCK1. Western Blot is the most common application for the PEPCKC antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
