Anti-PCDHB7 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein protocadherin beta 7. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 793 amino acid residues and a mass of 86.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. PCDHB7 is known to be involved with cell adhesion and nervous system development. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. PCDHB7 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse and rat species. ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are common applications for PCDHB7 antibodies.
