Anti-ELA2 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The ELA2 antigen is another term for the human protein elastase, neutrophil expressed, encoded by the ELANE gene. The protein is known to function in the regulation of intracellular calcium, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 267 residues and a mass of 28.5 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasmic vesicles and it is expressed in the bone marrow. The ELA2 protein is a member of the Peptidase S1 protein family. Other alias names for ELA2 include GE. Indicated applications for ELA2 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry.
