Anti-HINT3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein histidine triad nucleotide binding protein 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 182 amino acid residues and a mass of 20.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. It is a member of the HINT protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include adenosine 5'-monophosphoramidase HINT3 and HIT-like protein. HINT3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species.
