Anti-FEM1C antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein fem-1 homolog C. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 617 amino acid residues and a mass of 68.7 kDa. It is widely expressed across many tissue types. A member of the Fem-1 protein family, FEM1C is known to be involved with protein ubiquitination. Synonyms for this target antigen include protein fem-1 homolog C and FEM1-gamma. FEM1C gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some FEM1C antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
