Anti-IL20 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein interleukin 20. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 176 amino acid residues and a mass of 20.1 kDa. It has been described to be a secreted protein. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the IL-10 protein family, IL20 is known to be involved with the differentiation of certain cell types. Synonyms for this target antigen include ZCYTO10, cytokine Zcyto10, four alpha helix cytokine, and IL10D. IL20 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog and chimpanzee species. A number of IL20 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
