Anti-EPC2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein enhancer of polycomb homolog 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 807 amino acid residues and a mass of 91.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. A member of the Enhancer of polycomb protein family, EPC2 is believed to play a role in transcription or DNA repair. Synonyms for this target antigen include EPC-LIKE. EPC2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the EPC2 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Flow Cytometry are also common applications.
