Anti-MCF2L2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein MCF.2 cell line derived transforming sequence-like 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1114 amino acid residues and a mass of 127 kDa. Up to 4 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the MCF2 protein family, MCF2L2 is suspected to be functions as a guanine nucleotide exchange factor. The MCF2L2 gene has been associated with the disease, Type 2 diabetes mellitus. Synonyms for this target antigen include probable guanine nucleotide exchange factor MCF2L2, MCF2-transforming sequence-like protein 2, dbs-related Rho family guanine nucleotide exchange factor, and ARHGEF22. MCF2L2 gene orthologs have been reported in the bovine, chimpanzee and chicken species. Immunocytochemistry is the most common application for the MCF2L2 antibodies listed below. Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
