Anti-RRP40 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target RRP40 is a known alias name of the protein exosome component 3, encoded by the EXOSC3 gene in humans. This 275-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a non-catalytic component of the RNA exosome complex which has 3'->5' exoribonuclease activity and participates in a multitude of cellular RNA processing and degradation events. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for RRP40 include CGI-102 and PCH1B. Indicated applications for RRP40 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
