Anti-Chromodomain helicase DNA binding protein 4 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene CHD4 in humans. The gene may also be known as Mi2-beta, CHD-4, Mi-2b, SIHIWES, ATP-dependent helicase CHD4, and Mi-2 autoantigen 218 kDa protein. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 218 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
