Anti-NF68 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target NF68 is a known alias name of the protein neurofilament light chain, encoded by the NEFL gene in humans. This 543-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in neuronal development, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cell projections and cytoplasm of the cell and features O-glycosylated, ubiquitinated and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in the hippocampus, cerebral cortex, and cerebellum. Other synonyms for NF68 include CMT1F, CMT2E, and CMTDIG. Western Blot is the most common application for the NF68 antibodies listed below. Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
