Anti-HIMAP3 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the HIMAP3 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the GIMAP5 gene, which encodes GTPase, IMAP family member 5. This protein is reported to play a role in T lymphocyte development and the optimal generation of CD4/CD8 double-positive thymocytes (By similarity). The human version of HIMAP3 has a canonical amino acid length of 307 residues and a protein mass of 34.8 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the lysosomes of cells. Other names for this target antigen include IAN-5 and IAN4. Indicated applications for HIMAP3 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
