Anti-CCDC42 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein coiled-coil domain containing 42. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 316 amino acid residues and a mass of 38 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the CFAP73 protein family, CCDC42 is known to be required for sperm development. Synonyms for this target antigen include coiled-coil domain-containing protein 42 and coiled-coil domain-containing protein 42A. CCDC42 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the CCDC42 antibodies listed below. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
