The gene may also be known as TIP5, WALp3, bromodomain adjacent to zinc finger domain protein 2A, and TTF-I interacting peptide 5. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 211.2 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
