Anti-Acyl-CoA dehydrogenase family member 8 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene ACAD8 in humans. The gene may also be known as ACAD-8, ARC42, isobutyryl-CoA dehydrogenase, mitochondrial, and activator-recruited cofactor 42 kDa component. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 45.1 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, fly, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
