Anti-EFHD2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein EF-hand domain family member D2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 240 amino acid residues and a mass of 26.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. EFHD2 is believed to regulate B-cell receptor (BCR)-induced immature and primary B-cell apoptosis. Synonyms for this target antigen include swiprosin 1, testicular tissue protein Li 62, and EF-hand domain-containing protein D2.
