Anti-ECHDC1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein ethylmalonyl-CoA decarboxylase 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 307 amino acid residues and a mass of 33.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 6 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is a member of the Enoyl-CoA hydratase/isomerase protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include enoyl CoA hydratase domain containing 1, enoyl Coenzyme A hydratase domain containing 1, enoyl-CoA hydratase domain-containing protein 1, and ethylmalonyl-CoA decarboxylase. ECHDC1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the ECHDC1 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
