Anti-CCAAT enhancer binding protein delta antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene CEBPD in humans. The gene may also be known as C/EBP-delta, CELF, CCAAT/enhancer binding protein (C/EBP), delta, CRP3, CCAAT/enhancer binding protein delta, NF-IL6-beta, and C/EBP-delta. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 28.5 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
