Anti-TBP1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target TBP1 is a known alias name of the protein TNF receptor superfamily member 1A, encoded by the TNFRSF1A gene in humans. This 455-amino acid residue protein is a known receptor for TNFSF2/TNF-alpha and homotrimeric TNFSF1/lymphotoxin-alpha. It is localized to the Golgi, cell membrane, and is secreted of the cell and features glycosylated and cleaved post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. ELISA and Western Blot are common applications for TBP1 antibodies.
