Anti-DSPG1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target DSPG1 is a known alias name of the protein biglycan, encoded by the BGN gene in humans. This 368-amino acid residue protein is suspected to be involved in collagen fiber assembly. It is localized to the extracellular matrix and is secreted of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in the placenta. Western Blot is the most common application for the DSPG1 antibodies listed below. ELISA, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
