Anti-DFN7 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target DFN7 is a known alias name of the protein glutathione S-transferase pi 1, encoded by the GSTP1 gene in humans. This 210-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the cellular response to lipopolysaccharides and nervous system development, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus, mitochondria, and cytoplasm of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. The term FAEES3 is another synonym for DFN7. A number of DFN7 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
