Anti-CCDC93 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein coiled-coil domain containing 93. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 631 amino acid residues and a mass of 73.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the endosome. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the CCDC93 protein family, CCDC93 is a known component of the CCC complex, which is involved in the regulation of endosomal recycling of surface proteins, including integrins, signaling receptor and channels. Synonyms for this target antigen include coiled-coil domain-containing protein 93. CCDC93 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species.
