Anti-Folate Receptor 3 (gamma) antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Folate Receptor 3 (gamma) is a known alias name of the protein folate receptor gamma, encoded by the FOLR3 gene in humans. This 245-amino acid residue protein is known to bind to folate and reduced folic acid derivatives and mediates delivery of 5-methyltetrahydrofolate to the interior of cells. The protein is secreted and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. Other synonyms for Folate Receptor 3 (gamma) include FR-G, FR-G, and FR-gamma.
